How I help

Clarity, exploration, decision, a step

Four movements, in that order. Not a course and not a test result — a conversation that leaves you able to think about the decision yourself.

The four movements

Clarity doesn’t mean knowing the whole answer to your life. It means understanding yourself enough to see your next step.

…then a next step
  1. Clarity

We start with you: what matters to you, how you actually work, and where the confusion really sits.

  2. Exploration

We widen the options before narrowing them — majors, paths, and what those roles are like in practice.

  3. Decision

We compare, test the assumptions underneath, and cut the noise until the decision is genuinely yours.

  4. A step

You leave with one small, realistic thing to do this week — not a five-year plan.

The path doesn’t close. Clarity builds up one step at a time, and there is always another step.

What you leave with

  • A clearer picture of your interests, values, strengths, and the environment that suits how you work.
  • A wider, more honest map of the options — majors, paths, and the roles they actually lead to.
  • A way of comparing options that survives contact with your real circumstances.
  • One small step to take this week, chosen by you.

What coaching is not

These are the boundaries of the work, and they are firm.

  • Not a substitute for therapy, medical diagnosis, or support during a mental-health crisis.
  • Not a guarantee of a place in a major, or of a job.
  • Not someone doing the work, or making the decision, on your behalf.

About assessments

Interest and personality assessments are offered as a tool that helps exploration and organises the conversation. No single result proves the right major or the right job. Results are read alongside your values, experiences, abilities, and reality — never in place of them.

Privacy

Anything from a session that is ever published is stripped of everything identifying and rewritten as a general teaching point. Sensitive details are not shared, and nobody’s experience is used as content simply because it is moving.

It starts with a conversation

Tell me what’s least clear about where you are right now. We’ll start there.
